May Claire Villegas is a board certified nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric – Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Being an ARNP she specializes in mental health caring for adult population with mood and anxiety disorder, psychosis. She completed her graduate curriculum and practice requirements of the Post-Master’s Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program from Regis College located in Weston, Massachusetts.

As a practitioner, May Claire believes that we are all worthy to deserve the best quality of life through attainment of physical, mental and emotional well-being. Her main approach is integrating compassionate care, the ability to care and showing empathy for others as well as empowering patients and guiding them to be able to heal and recover in collaboration with their support systems. Building patient’s skills and resilience to feel safe, continue to keep themselves safe and live productive lives.

This practitioner also believed that attainment of greater sense of well-being through self-less service for others, establishing a warm, trusting and healing relationship puts the mind and heart at ease.
